With consistent orders coming in from around the nation, GotBeauty.com, a Salt Lake City based beauty boutique and salon/spa is moving from its cramped studio-warehouse to a brand new, much larger building in Sugarhouse.
Currently working out of about 1,000 square feet, owner Tammy Taylor said increased local and national demand has made it necessary to move to a building more than triple their current size.
"We actually started as a little online business" Taylor said. "People started wanting to shop our warehouse and things just took off from there."
Write-ups in People Magazine, Prevention Magazine, and Shape Magazine to mention a few, have boosted sales at Gotbeauty.com to beyond Taylor's expectations.
"We have been called 'beauty bloodhounds', and noted for being able to find hard to locate and discontinued items for our clients." Our special order services are free of charge. She and her employees scramble to supply beauty products to local customers, and to fill internet and phone orders. Taylor calls this bustle "beautiful chaos". People may perceive us as a huge company with tons of employees, when in actuality, we are a bunch of girls running around and filling our fun orders. We are a real Ma and Pa shoppe.
Taylor has been in the beauty industry for about 25 years.
